Great stuff, real slow to load, but worth the wait.
I have always loved Phil Ochs, and there is a remark on one of those film clips, about Phil Ochs being the writer of protest songs that Dylan should have been, or words to that effect.
Oh how true.

Here's a fine biographical article on Phil Ochs from Wickipedia:

Phil Ochs

He strikes me as a man similar in some ways to Che Guevara...in that he was consumed and eventually destroyed by his single-minded devotion to political causes. Politics is a dangerous business.

Joan Baez has been equally devoted to politics, but fortunately she has not been destroyed in the process.

Does anybody know what ever became of the "Phil Ochs" Film that Sean Penn was making?

Funny thing about his name in the UK lots people (including myself) promounced it "OX" instead of "OAKS" so it says on one of the CD liner notes!

Pleasures Of The Harbour is one of my current favourite. I was introduced to his music by Mick Jones (Clash) back in 1972 when he played me the track "When In Rome"
