Rather than argue about the alleged crabbiness, cowardice, Communism, snobbishness, pretentiousness, co-optational insolence, etc., of various singers and musicians, it might be more interesting to think about these performances - how they differ, why, and why we like them or not.

Personally, I think they're all great, but that's just me. My favorite and why? I ain't saying.
