At a very large party last week, two young sisters(ages 7 and 9) recently arrived from England sang a song about marriage. I arrived as they were singing and did not get most of the words.

The only ones I picked up are " I'll never marry a doctor" etc. The chorus went on about "I'll only marry a soldier," and a part that went "Marching through the green grass, Mush, mush, mush. Or it could be slush slush slush.

Their parents took them home before I could get to them.

Anybody know this song.
