Subject: Wheeler Street From: GUEST,Lucy Date: 23 Dec 09 - 11:54 AM Whoever said folk music was in trouble? http://www.myspace.com/wheelerstreet This great band have been described as a "teenage fairport convention" (strange when really, most people remember Fairport as teenagers). I saw these guys play at Glastonbury last year and decided to check them out on myspace. From there I've bought both their album and E.P and I just wanted to recomend them all to you, since I've seen a few threads lately about folk music being in trouble and the youngsters not getting involved enough. ~Lucy nb. Sorry, I reposted this as I think it got deleted last time, because I didn't include my name at the top; sorry about that guys! |
