A great band, and a really great set of people. The musicianship is incredible, and the harmonies stunning. Do not miss them, they are stunning.

Oh was it? It's just it wouldn't allow me to reply on it.

I may well join but I don't get a lot of time for the internet so seems a bit pointless.

Sorry for going off topic!

Lucy - your post wasn't deleted, it worked its way to the bottom and fell off.

But why not join the 'cat? It's free, and the best folk forum on the net

Whoever said folk music was in trouble?

This great band have been described as a "teenage fairport convention" (strange when really, most people remember Fairport as teenagers).

I saw these guys play at Glastonbury last year and decided to check them out on myspace. From there I've bought both their album and E.P and I just wanted to recomend them all to you, since I've seen a few threads lately about folk music being in trouble and the youngsters not getting involved enough.

nb. Sorry, I reposted this as I think it got deleted last time, because I didn't include my name at the top; sorry about that guys!

They started playing together, as The Stark Family, at the club I was running in The Greyhound, Wheeler St, Maidstone, (hence the name )and it was mindblowing to see so much talent in one room
