I thought I'd seen another thread like this recently, but the only ones I can find in the archives are years old now. Apologies if this has been covered under a different title recently...

I'm looking for recommendations on FREE storage of mp3s online (5-10 songs at a time max), so that I can put things up and provide a link for others to go and listen or download freely. Suggestions?

Dave, there is some discussion at the end of this thread from just the last day or so. Olddude is going to be working on a site where mudcatters only can upload mp3s. That might be more privacy than you want.

The orginal site I uploaded to and provided links for works just fine, but only retains files for 30 days. Also, it does take a minute or two of reading to learn how to download a file from that site.

You can set up as a "band" (even if you're only solo) on MySpace and put up to 10 tracks, which can be marked as downloadable as well as for online streaming.

It's free and works well. They had better not be copyright violations. of course.

I've used Esnips which gives you 5gb of space. Only if you infringe copyright blatantly do you have a problem
