Subject: RE: Tiger's Regret From: MGM·Lion Date: 21 Dec 09 - 01:32 AM Thank you Louie. No need to apologise - you didn't know at the time. And, as they say, if I couldn't have stood the heat I'd have stayed out of the kitchen. When I get involved in a thread I expect no special treatment from those who don't know my personal circumstances — that is what we have the PM facility for. All best regards to you - Michael |

Subject: RE: Tiger's Regret From: Fidjit Date: 20 Dec 09 - 04:09 PM One wonders just who all the other golfers are jumping on. Is the there a handicap required or do you have to be a scratch player? Chas |
Subject: RE: Tiger's Regret From: GUEST,julia Date: 20 Dec 09 - 01:02 PM I agree that the subject is sordid and that we have many more things with which to be truly concerned BUT has anyone really looked at the broadside lyrics that grace the pages of our illustrious archive? let's see, umm, murder, adultry, suicide, philandering, alchoholism, child molesting,... do I need to say more julia |
Subject: RE: Tiger's Regret From: John MacKenzie Date: 20 Dec 09 - 12:33 PM What is this doing in this section anyway. Apart from being excessively prurient, it's also amazingly non musical |
Subject: RE: Tiger's Regret From: GUEST,hg Date: 20 Dec 09 - 12:24 PM maybe he ought to change his name to "john" |

Subject: RE: Tiger's Regret From: MGM·Lion Date: 20 Dec 09 - 02:40 AM So what, Louie? It's his money, honestly earned, so WTF biznis of yours, I shd like to know!!! Fornicator-schmornicator, have you nothing in your life you wouldn't prefer me not to know? If not, what a boring life you must lead & what a boring person you must be! |
Subject: RE: Tiger's Regret From: Louie Roy Date: 19 Dec 09 - 10:07 PM I realize that Tiger is a Golf Legend but he is also a big time fornicator so quit the pussy footing around and call him what he is any time you spend $60.000 for prostitutes there isn't any other name |

Subject: RE: Tiger's Regret From: GUEST,TJ in San Diego Date: 18 Dec 09 - 04:39 PM Charlie: I received this one from an old friend and camping buddy from San Diego who doesn't want me to identify him. HE received it from a fellow who is with the Louisville Orchestra, of all places. I'm not sure who really wrote the thing, since it's not attributed. Sadly, I do agree that we have become a nation of voyeurs and those in the media who aid and abet same. I have no wish to indulge myself in it and regret any appearance of same. Tiger was a local celebrity before he was a national one - as a junior golfer. He made what appear to be unfortunate choices which are none of my business. That said, once you strive to become a media darling, you need to prepare yourself for the day you're unmasked or - reveal your shortcomings. |
Subject: RE: Tiger's Regret From: Charley Noble Date: 18 Dec 09 - 04:09 PM TJ- But who is "someone"? It's always nice to know who to credit for a song, and he did a good job with what he had to work with. We did have a challenge thread about this incident but it never got further than a few verses. Cheerily, Charley Noble |

Subject: RE: Tiger's Regret From: kendall Date: 18 Dec 09 - 12:53 PM The world is full of sad people who have no life so have to live other people's lives. I'm reading a book on voyeurism. It's about a peeping tome. |
Subject: RE: Tiger's Regret From: John MacKenzie Date: 18 Dec 09 - 12:52 PM Of course Mary. |
Subject: RE: Tiger's Regret From: SINSULL Date: 18 Dec 09 - 12:48 PM Just can't take your mind off me can you John? Actually I agree. Amid the Tiger gossip at the office I asked if anyone knew what was happebing with the proposed health plan. Stunned silence. Then I asked how many soldiers died today in Afghanistan. More silence. Who gives a shit about Tiger's private life other than those who stand to make money off him? And of course his wife. |
Subject: RE: Tiger's Regret From: John MacKenzie Date: 18 Dec 09 - 12:39 PM Must admit I find all the silly jokes, and the prurient interest in the man's private life, to be nauseating. Tiger Woods is a fantastic golfer, and this is what he is famous for. Sins, and first stones spring to mind. |

Subject: Tiger's Regret From: GUEST,TJ in San Diego Date: 18 Dec 09 - 12:22 PM It was bound to happen. Someone just sent me a composition celebrating the peccadilloes of our favorite golfer cum serial adulterer. I am not, personally, guilty of golf. It just seemed like a good place to start a "how the mighty have fallen" thread. Twas the night of Thanksgiving and out of the house Tiger Woods came a flyin', chased by his spouse. She wielded a nine iron and wasn't too merry, Cause a bimbo's phone number was in his Blackberry. He'd been cheatin' on Elin, and the story progressed. Woman after woman stepped up and confessed. He'd been cheatin with Holly, and Jaimee, and Cori, With Joselyn, and Kalika. The world had the story. From the top of the Tour to the basement of blues, Tiger's sad sordid tale was all over the news. With hostesses, waitresses, he had lots of sex, When not in their pants, he was sendin' them texts. Despite all his cryin and beggin' and pleadin', Tiger's wife went investin' -- a new home in Sweden. And I heard her exclaim from her white Escalade, "If you're gettin' laid then I'm gettin' paid." She's not pouting, in fact, she is of jolly good cheer, Her pre-nup made Christmas come early this year. Surely, there are others who want to "pile on." |
