Hey guys: A friend of mine is trying to find the words to an old Chhuck Wagon Gang song called "The Sign By the Side of the Road." Does anyone know this one? I really would appreciate the help with this search. Thanks, John.

The Online 78-rpm Discography Project indicates that the Chuck Wagon Gang recorded THE SIGNS BY THE SIDE OF THE ROAD in August, 1949, and it was issued as Columbia 20887.

I do not know if that is the correct song. Youtube titles it SBTSOTR, and Nell Hire sings the songs. 'Signs by the Side of the Road' is in the refrain.
