I suppose Folklore is the closest category.

Check out the Muppets' version of Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody" on YouTube. (But don't tell Bill D.)   Classic-- and classically Muppets.) Over 10 million hits already--maybe some of you have already seen it.

Thanks for the cliq, Jack. This one is really great.   Not very Christmassy, but great.   Or maybe not very Christmassy and great.

I love the old guys, perennial critics, saying: " I do not like your jokes". And Kermit's observation as CEO.

Came across this video a couple of weeks back, my SO and I keep doing impressions of Animal yelling "Mama!", sometimes while walking down the street. Makes for some interesting looks from passersby...

There as an interesting aspect of rock music in the 1970s. A lot of it was pretentious machismo, but some of it was really good. I think that Queen's 1975 Bohemian Rhapsody was one of the best of this genre. In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida (1968) was one of the first of the Pretentious Male Machismo Rock Epics, and it's still my favorite. Did the Muppets do "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida"?
Oh, now that you've got me thinking about it, what was the Pretentious Male Machismo Rock Epic that was in Latin?
