Everyone welcome

Singers night

Very well priced ale

only £2 or £2.50

One of the longest running folk clubs in the U K

check the web site for further details

very welcoming, though it was trad based it is now a very eclectic and all encompassing but still totally acoustic

The art of heckling lives

Resident singers include Mike Sparks, George Papavgeris, Kitty Vernon, parodies with Tim Frost, and occasionally Chris Flegg then Moses and the ref, or if the ref's away moses and someone else

The club books guests and the next guest night is Mon 11th Jan when Les Sullivan will be performing, his songs often feature at Fest singarounds

Happy new year

and £1 on the raffle,

And did I mention Derek in shorts ? No , oops, sorry

Kitty and Derek's CD now available

For visiting singers deciding on their choice of songs, it maybe worth noting that its a great club that loves choruses and joins in most heartily and readily.

Not many clubs open over the holiday period in fact, but Herga is open all year round

Best not to mention Derek in shorts, but if you insist, then the black socks are there too.

And George opens the Sunray on Bobs Birthday Bash...28thJan.

SunrayFC - I think you need a better solution to your latest programme info than something that requires an additional plugin for my browser to see it. Might I suggest a simple list?

Cooliris is a standard on line application.

It integrates with most on line packages. Images that show an arrow in the lower left corner use it- which is most.

But I am not arguing. Many people have many different ways of using the web. It's all out there.

I am happy to post you a program!!!!!

I'm still using IE6. Company IT policy won't let me upgrade my laptop yet! Cooliris says it's not supported. So not good if you're looking for access by as many as possible.

Anyway, enough of this thread hijack!

Should be a good night at Herga. I'll be there. Looking forward to seeing everyone, as I missed the Christmas Party.

Breezy, want a lift?

We had a really good evening - thanks especially to Tim Frost for "All God's gritters got a place on the road", to Leadfingers for singing a Dave Houlden gem and to Carol and George from North Kentucky for their flying visit before returning home!

Looking forward to hearing Les Sullivan in a fortnight's time.

Kitty

Yes, a cracking evening with some 30 there. It was nice to see Joyce and Audrey too. The cinnamon bikkies were yummy, too.
