Just a rather late heads up for above programme at 1pm today which will be featuring traditional carols I believe - should be interesting as this programme is generally of very high quality indeed

Thanks, Joe - I've got R3 on now, and the guest is author Michael Morpungo, who just said he occasionally sings with Coope, Boyes, and Simpson.

I'm just listening to the second half of that programme - yes he does quite a lot of work with CBS and his play War Horse has music by John Tams.

Early Music Show: Christmas carols
Commented on the 'other board' but will also say here if you didn't catch this programme do listen again, it isn't to 'stuffy' and sits nicely along with Georgina Boyce's research & the CBS+Girls 'Voices at the Door' Album. Catherine Bott pays a lovely thanks to all at the Royal Hotel and Dave Eyre and his show got the well deserved mention so wonderful!

Yes - good to hear Dave & his show getting a mention - enjoyd the programme but was hoping for more folk content. Listening to the great Stephen Johnson talking about RVW 5th Symphony now on R3 - heaven!

Speaking on behalf of the aforementioned Dave I thought she made a splendid job of the show - and didn't the Dungworth singing sound great?

I am not back to do the show until January 16th - I need a break after all that publicity, but since she was good enough to plug my show, the least I can do is mention hers!!
