"This man is truly a fantastic singer songwriter with a magnificent voice."

I couldn't agree more, SOL. I would add only that whenever I've come away from his performances, it has been with great admiration and respect for him as a performer, and a human being. His philosophy of sharing music is truly inspiring. Thanks, Kray!

KT

In return for the free music he asks only that we don't charge others for it.

Kray is a talented singer and songwriter and puts on a good show too. We have used him several times on our monthly folk club and will again.

I'm glad you have found him!

And for those who like his music - a quote from his web site (http://www.krayvankirk.com/ ):-

"I don't make CDs any more, because the last thing we need in the world is more "stuff". All of my tunes are in the process of being listed here as free downloads under the Creative Commons 2.5 License. Listen to them, share them, give them away - it's an experiment in music without borders or cost."

Quack!
GtD.

With a name such as that he didn't take much tracking down (it's a sod trying to find the right John Smith).

One of my good friends and regular attendees at The Borderline, Kathleen Sturgis, has turned me on to this fabulous folk singer. This man is truly a fantastic singer songwriter with a magnificent voice. He sounds to me like the second coming of Stan Rogers. He hails from Juneau, Alaska. He will be passing through the New York area on his way to Ireland and we hope to present him at The Borderline on Sunday, August 1st. I usually do not run concerts during the Summer but this guy is too good to pass up.
