Another one several rather exotic songs featured in Paddy Tunney's book The Stone Fiddle is a Masonic song called The Knight Templar's Dream.

It has the lyrics, which are rather purple, but doesn't give the tune. Apparently Len Graham sang it, and I think it might be on Three Score & Ten.

I found a thread on here about Masonic songs in general, and a great link to a Bodleian Libray database, which also had the lyrics, but again, no tune.

Post-Christmas, my wallet can't really cope with buying a Topic Records box-set, great as I'm sure it is, to hear Len Graham's recording.

So anyone know the tune? Or got a link to anywhere I can hear it?

Len recorded TKTD on his LP, Wind and Water, Topic 12TS 334. Long since deleted by Topic I'm afraid, but it is available as a CD reissue on Len's own label, Cranagh Music. http://www.storyandsong.com/.

Otherise, go to http://www.last.fm/music/Andrew+King/_/The+Knight+Templar's+Dream , where you can hear it sung by Andrew King.

Cool - thanks so much for the link to Len's site.

It's funny - I googled Len Graham after reading Paddy Tunney's book, and google doesn't return any results for his website.

LG's books look interesting. Think I might be about to spend some more money I don't have...
