A friend told me of her step father, now in his eighties who used to go folking in London, now lives in Southwick and does not get out much any more.

Any suggestions?

The nearest ones are in Shoreham: there is a monthly song & tunes session at The Bridge pub - the next one is on January 18th. The Rude Mechanicals duo play every Wednesday at The Ferry.

There is a monthly chorus and harmony sing at The Fountain, Ashurst - that's not too far away. It's listed in the Sussex Folk Diary
