I'm there already - as you knew, Brian - I moved to Ballyliffin in October 2009. However, I've not been able to attend any of your monthly sings - when's the next?

Will there be any workshops?

Where's the nearest airport?

Cheers

Hi Sue,

Nearest airport is Derry, but Belfast is also a possibility with Bus connections from both. No official workshops but plenty of opportunities to pick up songs - wall to wall singing for whole weekend!
Hope to see you there
Brian

For those who don't know the area, it might be explained that The North Pole, at which, weather permitting, a singing session will take place on 12th February, is a pub at Drumfries, roughly mid-way between Buncrana and Clonmany (Inishowen, Donegal) - it is housed in a converted railway station building. A petrol station a couple of miles to the north of Buncrana advertises itself as the last chance for fuel and provisions before the north pole!

Thanks John

I just love giving people directions to Clonmany. "Afer Buncrana turn left at the North Pole"!

Hope to see you there on the 12th

Brian

What an excellent weekend! Good talks/lectures, good singing sessions, good company and an exceptional concert on Saturday Night. And cheap bar prices (by Irish standards!). Roll on 2011.

Hey Brian,
Sorry we missed it for the first time since 2001...
Next year, it'll be put in the diary first and my work will be arranged around the dates, unlike this time.

Hopefully we'll get over later in the year for a catch up at one of the sessions.

Andy
