If you are here and on a tight timetable, don't forget that NZ is half a day ahead of Britain and threequarters of a day ahead of California. |

Subject: RE: Auckland Folk Festival From: Charley Noble Date: 17 Jan 10 - 09:25 AM Gurney- Are there nautical concerts and workshops as well? I was wondering if Rudy Sunde and the Maritime Crew were participating. Charley Noble |
Subject: RE: Auckland Folk Festival From: Little Robyn Date: 17 Jan 10 - 01:33 PM Rudy will be there and Lou Black. Lots of home brew and late night singing. Robyn |
Subject: RE: Auckland Folk Festival From: Little Robyn Date: 17 Jan 10 - 01:39 PM Here's a copy of the programme and the Maritime crew are there on Saturday. Rudy is doing NZ songs on Sunday afternoon. Sorry, that should be Lew, not Lou Black. Robyn |
Subject: RE: Auckland Folk Festival From: Gurney Date: 17 Jan 10 - 03:19 PM The Homebrew and Drinking Songs on Saturday night is IMO the best scene I've ever attended in 40yrs of folk festivals. It's open-mic and free homebrew -while it lasts, and 200 good singers for about 5 hours. If you get there, greet the little guy with the white cap moderating the mic. Thats probably me. |
Subject: RE: Auckland Folk Festival From: vectis Date: 17 Jan 10 - 06:32 PM I'm hoping to make the one after next but will miss this one for sure, only just come back to wintry blighty. |

Subject: RE: Auckland Folk Festival From: Little Robyn Date: 28 Jan 10 - 02:41 AM We've borrowed the sister's house-bus/camper and we're in the process of loading up tonight. Jacko's family are giving a concert on Sunday morning, Emily Smith is doing a workshop on Sunday afternoon, lots of other things to hear and old friends to catch up with. Robyn |
