I remember accompanying my aunt sing what I recall as "Just the Same"backinthe '60's, but can only recall the simple chorus and some of the Daniel verse lyrics noted by others here.

Just the same,

God is just the same today.

I can't recall all of the verse melody though that of the chorus is locked in. any help out there on the score?

Well, I listened (many times!) to the recording mentioned above and this is what I hear (any uncertainties are noted):

The chorus I learned is quite different: Just the same, Just the same; God is just the same today. Just the same, just the same, God is just the same today.

It would be odd if the chorus didn't repeat as you initially transcribed it:

"It makes me happy when I'm alone and happiness you see"

Are you convinced it is something different?
