The Beginners Tuesday Tunes Session at The Beech, Beech Road, Chorlton, Manchester will be one year old on Tuesday 26 January.

Thanks and well done to all those who have come along and played a few tunes.

I am looking for some one who might come along and do some some solo clogging or similar.

Anyone in the Greater Manchester area interested?

Find Alex Fisher, she lives in Ecvlestone and earns her living from it, so she might want paying, but she's brilliant (as wel;l; as being a lovely person).

Sid Calderbank's daughter Lizzie might be a more affordable, but equally classy option! PM (or email) me for contact details...

Or try John Kelly - He posts on here as 'Harmonium Hero'. Professinal folk singer now, I think. Bloody good clog dancer and well worth booking.

(You can send me the fiver later, John:-) )

He's a good man that John Kelly - and has played at Chorlton Folk Club with an excellent collection of old songs. I didn't know he danced as well.

We are a small Singaround with no charge and I believe John is now internationally famous and has groupies - can you confirm that Dave?

Well folks, Ms Liz Caulderbank will be dancing some Lancashire Clog Dances in the Snug of The Beech next Tuesday to celebrate one year of Beginners Tunes in The Beech.

We will play lots of tunes and sing some songs and much fun will be had!

All(?) will be welcome
