Subject: RE: Folk Festivals in France 2010 From: GUEST,OldNicKilby Date: 22 Jan 10 - 09:17 AM We went to one in Goran in Brittany in September. Not a Festival as we know it Jim but very enjoyable IF you like Bagpipes and Bombards Lovely setting at Chateau Tronjollie and a wonderful dance, mainly Playford, so I am told in the evening. No sessions No singarounds not much atmosphere but very pleasant and good food in the village. I suppose it was a competative festival really |

As for France - it has an amzing collection of old music but I have always failed to find much of it through 30 years of visits L in C# |
