G-Force,

Mr Happy & the Gloom Band will be glimpsed on the fringes.

I neither know nor care who's on at the fest, but relish signing & playing music with fiends old 'n new in the seshes.

We'll be camping somewhere on the periphery

> Forget your principles. Chill and book anyway.

Wise words for any festival you enjoy

I've now got accommodation about 5 miles away from Upton, but if you're going you probably to need B&B book *now* as they're going fast ...

Patience G-Force. You're like a storm in a tea cup!
What's the hurry? Give them chance to announce the line up.
It's early days yet and like most festivals, especially in the current difficult economic climate; things might take longer to click into place.
Upton is always brilliant and I am sure it will not disappoint in 2010.
Forget your principles. Chill and book anyway.

Mr Happy, you're always there, being very helpful and we're deeply graeful, but your link to the website only shows a load of morris sides. They are great for local colour but don't give us any idea of who's peforming in the venues. We like to sit in the music sessions but we are not paying out for tickets until we know some of the performers as well. There have been some very nice replies about who's on from people booked but what are the organisers doing? It's also important for the town (we're talking flooding here) to attract as much support as possible from prospective ticket purchasers and so far it's been disappointing.

It's only a few months now and we'd like to go along but can't seem to find out who's on. On principle we won't book tickets until we know the line-up, so anyone out there have any information?
