Debbie Carroll (a.k.a. black walnut) and Tannis Slimmon interview with Mary Ito on the topic of HOUSE CONCERTS.

The interview was pre-taped yesterday down at the Toronto CBC studios...fun! I believe that anyone anywhere should be able to receive it live~streamed on the internet.

The only problem I see b.w. is that, who is going to be up at 8.00am on a Sunday morning to hear it. Especially if you were at a house concert, followed by some sort of session on the Saturday night.
I guess I will have to try to put the radio on and stay awake while listening.

I won't be able to listen to it myself - I'll be getting ready for a concert I'm doing that day up in Ottawa. Hopefully someone will tape it for me ... my husband, for one. :-)

I'm pretty sure you can get it on the internet from anywhere in the world, even Maine :-).

I'm off to Ottawa by train this morning with Jeff M. Let's see...2 guitars, banjo, mandolin, tuners, stands, turtle puppet, creepy crawly puppet, borrowing a keyboard, and taking a few clothes. Glad we're not crossing any borders!

Whoosh. This has nothing to do with the CBC interview, but rather the train. Yes, they let us on with all this stuff. But boy it's difficult to trek it up and down and up and down. I'll sleep well tonight, Ottawa!

Sounded good to me, I fell asleep after it and woke up around ten, I think I'm getting worse.
Didn't know you were moving to Goderich, really nice town. May see you at the Celtic College/Festival, we didn't make it this year as I went to a Blacksmith Conference in Northern Saskatchewan.

Some people have been trouble listing in the link. Here's what a friend of mine had to say about the problem. Don't ask me to explain it though:

"I had a problem with a newer version of Winamp under Vista. I went to an XP box with an older Winamp and it worked fine (this morning). Both running Firefox.

"I though CBC went with ogg format files - these are wma. There's yer trouble. :-)"
