Hi all,

I am looking for a copy of the recording - Songs of a Cotswold Shepherd by Nick Dow.
This is the songs collected from shepherd Shadrach Hayden 1828 to 1915 of Bampton and put together by the folklorist and expert gypsy wagon painter Nick Dow.
There was one for sale recently on E-Bay, which I have never, nor ever, want to use.
Does anyone have a copy they don't want, or does anyone have a contact address (e-mail) for Nick that I can write to him and find out if he can make me a copy. (any address should be sent top me a private mail and NOT put up on Mudcat.

Nick Dow is selling plans for Gypsy Caravans on eBay at the moment as user athcintan (or something similar). He also sells CD's occasionally using the same name. You could contact him through eBay to ask about availability.

I've just checked and Nick Dow (athcintan) is selling some of his CD's on eBay at the moment. eBay is a very useful way of artists selling their back catalogue and, as a frequent user, I think it serves a useful purpose; though I can appreciate that some have reservations.

Yes - I have been able to successfully contact Nick via his Gypsy Wagon Painting web page and have even ordered a recording.
