Shammick Acoustic in Combe Martin will be hosting a harmony workshop day led by Keith Kendrick and Sylvia Needham on Saturday 27th March. Their harmonies are a treat to listen to, and they will do their best to pass on how they do it, and how anyone else can as well! The last harmony workshop run by the club was a tremendous success, and it's hoped that this one will be equally so. The booking form can be downloaded from the club's website

This will be good. Keith did a vocal harmony workshop for us at the Lewes Saturday Folk Club with Lynne Heraud a few years ago now and it was very popular indeed.

BB

Is the workshop specifically aimed at trad folk singers, or is it for would-be harmony singers of any genre? what will the material be?

Just that I have a friend who may be interested (but he's not a traddie).

Thanks
Sue

Well, most of what Keith & Sylvia do is trad., but the principles would apply to any genre, especially if your friend made it clear what sort of music he personally is interested in.
