So, if you're in North Devon, do drop in. Sue |

Subject: RE: Bideford Folk Festival 2010 Cancelled From: My guru always said Date: 01 Feb 10 - 01:12 PM Am so sorry to hear about this, but I suppose it's unavoidable in these hard times. I'd wanted to get to Bideford for several years and had hoped that this year might be possible, but I'll keep my hopes for 2011. Sending positive thoughts to Hilary & Jerry and all the Bideford team! |

Subject: Bideford Folk Festival 2010 Cancelled From: Sue the Borderer Date: 31 Jan 10 - 10:34 AM I'm sorry to be informing people that Bideford Folk Festival has been cancelled for 2010. I gather that the main problem has been with funding. For a while the committee intended to run a downsized, shorter festival in August but they've eventually decided to cancel it completely. Instead all their efforts are going into getting everything in place ready for 2011. I for one will really miss it this summer - and I'm sure plenty of other people will too. Sue |
