what an energetic young group
too bad the audio quality was
tinny and treble-y on the CA
Cottonfields clip, but they
have promise!! the Brown Barn
video had a clearer sound, but
was missing the other fiddler
girl. The guitar solos were
audible and incredible! you
go., kids! I will vote for you.

If you ever get to Oroville for
the state fiddle championships,
i would like to have you play
on my radio show!

Subject: Help the bluegrass kids win in Livermore contest!

Some of you may have heard the OMGG bluegrass band at festivals, especially on the west coast. They are Aissa "AJ" Lee (lead vocals mandolin), Marty Varner (guitar), and Max Schwartz (bass), Nate Schwartz (mandolin). I know Marty is 14 and AJ is about 12.
They are in competition in a Livermore talent contest and there is a parallel online vote in addition to the judged voting.

Here is are some videos and the voting link:

OMGG perform "California Cottonfields" at 2009 IBMA World of Bluegrass Festival

"I've Endured" - Brown Barn Bluegrass Festival in San Martin, CA

The voting link and contest video (not the greatest video work...)
