From my experience, the port rarely gets past Phot.... regardless of which side it's required.

Pass the port to the left & don't have to many beers in the antiroom before you enter a formal "doo", but most of all don't even think about removing your jacket before you are told that you may do so!

Another great Royal Navy cock up was made today! After 23 years in the forces, I've been promoted to Petty Officer, so I suppose I'll have to be a grown up now!

Five seconds after the skipper had given me my new rank slides, the Lt Cdr said I was 'Out of the rig of the day' and fined me a bottle of port, this does not bode well!
