Hey Leeneia,

Sorry you had trouble navigating the site. The blog is sort of an addition to the original website -- baumanstoneware.com But all the commerce is done via Etsy. The "Etsy mini" is the multi-paneled link in the upper left of my blog. Anything that I currently have for sale is available through that site. Basically, if you click on the Etsy link and it only takes you to one piece, then just look for the "shop" link to be moved to the full store. If I've sold it (like that basketweave jar), the Etsy site will show it to you if you click on my "sold" items, but for my security doesn't include the sale price.

Q,

Many of Richard's ash glazes will flow into a hare's fur appearing glaze. True hare's fur are generally considered those achieved by iron crystals grown and flowing in a tenmoku-like glaze. Another similar glaze is the oil spot glaze.

Thanks, Kat *kisses*

There are so many different types of pottery available via Mudcatters. Guy Wolff was featured in Martha Stewart Living back in September (I think) and he has a lot of great big plant type pots and some historic designs. BWL I think is closer to what John turns out, but not the same. Who else? Oh, Rapaire takes pot shots, but that's usually with lead, not clay. . .

The first illustration reminded me of the "hare's fur" glaze on ancient Chinese teabowls (Jian).

Well, John, I wanted to find out the cost of the jar with the basketweave. I couldn't find it. Basically, I can't figure out your site.

Unless you only have three items for sale right now ...

I tried to send you an e-mail, and nothing happened when I clicked on 'email John Bauman'

I suggest you have some friends try using your site and report back to you on how well it worked.

Thanks for the link, John.

I love your house. I love your flowering trees. I love the jars with the basket-weave.

Guys - stop wittering on about Harry Potter! Click on the links and see something new.

Some of you (especially potters) may be interested that I've started a new series on my blog.

Influential Potter Series #1

I've started it out with a post about Richard Aerni.
