All I can find out on this one is from your previous post:

I've never seen a discography sorted by track listing, only by recording titles.

Fellow afficianadoes,

Does there exist in christendom a discography of sea music recordings that includes track listings? I am on a search for evidence of a first recording of a specific song ("Don't Forget Your Old Shipmate"), and I have faith that the Mudcat personhood will assist me in verifying the event.

My knowledge to date is that Jim Mageean was the first to record the song, on his 1978 LP "Of Ships...And Men".

Thanks for your help.
