Waits was good in Eli.. woked well with Denzel... brought a lot to the film which was otherwise so-so...

he was great in Roberto Benini's 'Tiger in the Snow' where he played himself singing the theme in a recurring dream sequence

...in Terry Gilliam's new film "The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus". I saw it yesterday, and was once again struck by Gilliam's wonderful visual imagination and zany storytelling. Tom is delightfully creepy as the ages-old adversary of Christopher Plummer's Dr P. Also excellent are Heath Ledger (in his final role), and Johnny Depp, Colin Farrell and Jude Law who were brought in to play different aspects of Ledger's character after his untimely death.

Waits has been busy in front of the camera lately - he's also in the new Hughes Brothers post-apocalypse film "The Book of Eli" starring Denzel Washington.

If you've seen either of these films, tell us what you think of them!
