Our local NPR affiliate, www.KCHO.org, is conducting a donation campaign today on their station. Any donations rec'd via their website will be given the the program "Promise For Haiti" thru
Direct Relief International.

The Butte Folk Music Society will be "passing the hat" at our
monthly jam today in Chico, California, from 2-5 Pacific Time.

From 12 noon to 2 this afternoon, the show Harmony Ridge, an
acoustic music show, will be featuring music such as Playing
for Change, Calling All Angels, and other inspirational songs.

They do have a toll-free phone line, but i am not encouraging
folks who are long distance to use that, as it would cost more
for the station. So if you are able to, please pitch in through
their web site, using a credit card.

I was able to collect about $70 today by passing the "hat"
and there was Haitian music on the radio station this afternoon.
