In Search Of:

I found this song on the DT, but no music! Didn't know it was sung by Bing crosby and Burl Ives. Dave Van Ronk has recorded it also.

Does anybody have the TAB/Music or chords for this song?

Thanx, EZR

EZR:

I can provide what you requested but can supply a little trivia. Bing Crosby sang this in a fine movie that was released, I would guess, in about 1944. "Going My Way," with Barry Fitzgerald and (I believe) Rise Stevens. You can catch it sometime on late TV if you haven't seen it. Bing also does the old Irish lullaby, "Too Ra Loo Ra Looral" in the same movie, though I may not have spelled the title correctly.

Check out the "Folk Process" column in the newest issue of Sing Out! (vol. 34 #4) Sory, no tab, but there's a great parody "Would you like to play the guitar". It's a real bonafide 'catters tune.

I'm new here. I wanted to see the TAB and chords for Swing on a Star but I don't see it when I look at this thread. How do I find it?

BTW, my computer is at work and has no sound card so I can't play MIDI files. Only see things on the screen...bummer......
