Wish i could be there Ray, bit far from Heywood. They were fabuloua at Saddleworth festival last year.

Tonight at Barnsley Folk and Acoustic Club are The Young'uns from Hartlepool. Amazing young three-part harmony singers - worth seeing and highly recommended!!! 9pm in the Shaw Inn ( S70 6AE ) - all welcome for a great night

Jimmy.I and Mr Booker have been checking out alternatives for bioth the club and Easter

JB says there is anew bloke in from 12th Feb in the Shaw and we will need to chat him up for continuance at the Shaw, in all probability still be there!!

WE have an alternative venue at the Arches 200 yrds away with camper van space too! fdor Easter

The Young 'Uns from Hartlepool are due to appear at Barnsley on Feb 15th 2010

Many already know via email, let us know your email to get on the Barnsley folk club mailing list if not on already

The venue for the night to cut a long story short is now, The Heart of Barnsley (formerly Macey's) in Peel Square

This is in the very quiet at night centre of Barnsley, with lots of street parking

We hope to return asap to the Shaw ~ under new pub management, probably next week!!
