Instrument thieves are very near the lowest of the low. Severe corporal punishment is indicated.

Good luck with getting stolen instruments back.

Is it part of some kind of 'cull' or conspiracy plot?

I suggested to someone just last night that used guitar strings [and by extension, banjo strings] make great garottes.

Earnst-

You're right. Hang 'em all by any string you wish, even a G-string.

Hanging with a 5th string? Do you want to pardon those who steal a tenor, mandolin or uke banjo?

Capo èm I say!

Anyone who would stoop so low as to steal a banjo should be strung up by a 5th string.

Charley "5-string" Noble

ALWAYS record serial numbers of all valuables. W/o them you can never get it back.

Banjo Stolen in New York - Saturday night!

..... & just last Saturday, one was stolen in London!

Are Banjos really becoming some form of International Currency?

For details read: Banjo stolen in New York!

If anyone reading this, is playing a stolen instrument .... NOW is the time to hang your head in shame!

I know none of us like to thank that any Trad or Folk enthusiast would ever stoop so low as to to steal someone else's instrument, but perhaps the reality is, that there are a few Bad Apples in every barrel! :-(

Anyway, please keep your Eyes peeled & your Ears to the ground.

Cheers
Dick
