Have a look at the Acoustic Calendar for Wessex - its currently showing February's gigs and sessions but events in March will fall on the same days.

Hi Martin - there are 2 competing concerts on Friday 5 March:

"Wareham Beside The Sea 2010"

Wareham Beside The Sea a concert to bring a whiff of salt air to the Saxon town of Wareham in Dorset.

The evening features a wealth of Folk talent. From Southampton Wyndwitch are Ken Stephens and Fiona Murphitt, From West Dorest James Findlay, winner 2010 BBC young folk award with Jerry Bird, and from Wareham , The Wareham Whalers.

Ably supporting these fine singers and players will be Robin Plowman, Sophie Wright and the evening will be MC'd by Geoff Payne. There will be a Bar. Proceeds from the night will go to the Royal Marsden Hospital - Sutton Childrens Ward.

The concert will be held in the Town Hall in Wareham on Friday 5th March and will start at 7:30pm. Tickets for the evening at £5 can be reserved in advance by emailing me. Oh yes and we will of course have a raffle which is growing by the minute.
