Here's a shameless plug for a concert I'm putting together -

Si Kahn will be performing a concert at the BuxMont Unitarian Universalist Fellowship in Warrington, Pennsylvania on Saturday, March 13, 2010 as part of his Stand for Justice tour. The concert starts at 8pm and tickets are a very reasonable $15 for regular adults and $10 for students and seniors, with a sliding scale.

Warrington is convenient to Philadelphia, central New Jersey, and the Lehigh Valley. The BuxMont UU Fellowship is on Street Rd. (132) just east of Rt. 611 in Warrington. The easiest way to get there is to take the Pennsylvania turnpike to the Willow Grove exit, head north a few miles, and turn right on Street Rd. - it's just past the TD bank on the right.

We're very excited to have Si joining us. For those who don't know, Si is also an author and community organizer (I'm just assuming folks on Mudcat know how great a songwriter he is), and he'll be the guest speaker the next morning with a focus on immigration issues, and then be doing a workshop on community organizing from 1-3 on Sunday. None of this is to be missed, but the concert will be especially wonderful.

Well, I'd surely attend this concert, but

(a) I'm not in the area, and

(b) I saw Si in a concert just last Sunday, when he appeared with John McCutcheon and Cathy Fink and Marcy Marxer. Great concert, much fun!

I'm sure the Buxmont event will be great too!
