The North Texas Irish Festival will be held on March 5-6-7 at Fair Park in Dallas, Texas; 6:00-11:00 Friday (free admission 6 to 7!), 10:30-11:30 Saturday, and 11:30-7:30 Sunday. This year the festival is featuring acts from the Canadian Maritime provinces, along with some Irish favorites. Here is the www with performer profiles and all sorts of info: http://www.ntif.org/

The DART green line is now open, so you can take the train straight to the festival and won't have to dodge the construction if you drive. Construction is also done on the lagoon so the festival will be back in the Automobile and Centennial buildings instead of being strung out like last year.

I'll be pouring beer on Saturday and Sunday afternoons probably in the Centennial Building, and will cheerfully by a round for any mudcatters that come by to say hello.
- Phil

We're looking forward to the festival and maybe some warmer weather too! OK Phil, I'll cheerfully take you up on the offer.
I'm glad to hear that the festival is going back to two buildings this year. See you soon Phil!
Bill (& Deanna)

Howdy, Bill. It will be great to see ya'll. Any more of the Scamp Camp gang coming down? Tell (&Deanna)that(&Michelle) and I said hi.

I don't know any more about the horses than what is posted at www.ntif.org, but it is Texas after all. Maybe we're looking to suppliment our already plentiful supply of bull.

Just thought I'd pop in and let you know that Michael is doing much better... Just keep him in your thoughts!
And, watch for "Friends of MWH" at the North Texas Irish Festival next weekend (March 6 and 7) near the Cashel stage.
Cheers,
Mary Anne

It's getting close...less than a week to go. The long-range weather forcast is partly cloudy with highs in the upper 60s. Works for me.

Could be, but will the outstanding lineup of performers we have this year I doubt anyone will care about the weather.
