The now somewhat collectible Dunlop Strummer was a better idea, and even it was a bit of a bust. The claim of making a 6 string sound like a 12 string are bogus, a pick doesn't create pitches that aren't represented by strings and fretted notes. Sure a little chorus-like sound, and definately more volume, but not great for single note playing, and they sound scratchy when strumming.

Save your money or spend it of some of the great (and inexpensive) picks on the market.

Bought one of these a while back . Not impressed at all and I think it could damage the instrument if weilded too hard. Best avoided

..gave into curiosity and ordered a couple from the USA when these were first advertised.

They've been lost and forgotten in a box somewhere ever since..

If there was any positive enhanced tonal effect, it was too subtle
to care about.

At least the very chunky clunky Dunlop
too large for comfort and finger joint straining multi-pick 'comb' "12 string sound" plectrums
from the 90's
gave a fair increase in volume on an aggressively strummed acoustic,
before falling in less than a few minutes from limp cramped finger and thumb.

Amazon, which does not actually have the pick in stock, does have some customer reviews -- not terribly positive ones, to my mind, but read 'em for yourself here.

Saw this thing in Musican's Friend... Looks like a cross between a comb and a falt pick... Says that it "produces 3 trademark sounds: a 12 string-like effect, a hammer dulcimer effect, and a cello sound"

And only $9.95!!!

Now I ain't been much on flat pickin' of late but I can sho nuff still do it so I am wonderin' if anyone is usin' one of these things and if so, is it worth foolin' with???
