My message kind of got away from me a minute ago. Not sure if it got posted as I don't see it yet. Anyway, please keep me (us) posted of any infortamation you find.

I know from reading previous posts that she had moved to Hong Kong years ago - not sure if it was for music or other reasons but that she sang in a movie produced in Hong Kong. I haven't been able to find anything about the movie or to hear if Deena did sing on the soundtrack. I don't think it was a well known movie - at least I had never heard of it being released in USA. Maybe it was a movie only available to be seen in Hong Kong.

Deena Webster records rarely get airplay (c.f.contact of 31.08.2013)but on December 14 2013 the 1969 single 'Joey' was played on BBC WM's (West Midland Local Station) 'Network Gold' (18.00-20.00).It is available to download for one week after broadcast and the track can be located from 01:50:04 to 01:53:40.

The school in question was called Lillesden; long gone now. I left in the 1960's when I was 13 and only saw Dina on television thereafter. Sorry not to be more help!

Also, where will the LP be reissued at? On CD?

Is she still living in Asia? Are there any records released only in Asia of her music (other songs besides the one album she had out in the 60's in UK?)

I think record collector is British and sells vinyl only
You can get more details off the Internet on them
I had the story of Deena emailed to Thailand by a pal, she also ordered me an LP from the magazine in UK

I too was looking for info on this Deena Webster. I bought the CD on impulse from the covert art, which I love. Thought I'd pass this along:

The CD (remastered) is currently available from Japan. I'd grab it quick as I suspect titles like this don't stay in print for long. I can attest to the sound quality as being incredible, as are most remasters coming from Japan.

Just saw this thread and I too have been wondering if Deena Webster is singing anywhere? Posts of her indicate she is in Hong Kong.
Perhaps she is performing in clubs there but I could not seem to find anything when I tried to research "Deena Webster singing/performing in Hong Kong."
So what has become of her? I have that one LP of hers, "Tuesday's Child."
I often wonder how her voice might have changed over the years.
Wonder why she never released another album. She was very talented.

I heard she still plays but only special events from a man I know who was at a short performance recently in Hong Kong he said she is very private and doesn't seek publicity.

I think she plays and sings but not professionally and a family friend heard about an off cuff performance last year in Asia where she lives, We bought the newly released album but it feels like she disappeared off the radar, my parents knew her in London in the late 1960's when she was recording and performing

We still have her record and I saw her in my teens at a folk club gathering in the 1960’s in Manchester and my sister saw her at the Albert Hall in London, she was young then and must be in her sixties now. I hope she kept singing.

Found out by the merest chance that magazine "The Record Collector" recently did a limited re-issued of her lone album on vinyl - and they actually tracked her down and talked to her. Brief article about her story in the Feb 2014 issue.

Some demos of Deena in 1968 were cut but unreleased

Deena’s mother live£ in h9ng Kong, I think. Eden met and married an Englishman Peter Greene who worked for the Hong Kong bank in HK. They were later divorced.
