Subject: RE: Wirral Folk on the Coast Fest From: GUEST,Kathy Date: 02 Mar 10 - 05:55 AM Hi I went to last year's folk on the coast in Wirral, I don't recall any organised child events but they were certainly welcome and there were plenty of children around. My daughter's a bit old for children's shows and prefers shooting roots or the same music as us these days. So I cannot really be sure but the organisers run the Hungry Horse Folk Club and I am sure they would answer any queries you might have. They do have workshops and other entertainment during the day and I thoroughly enjoyed my first visit last year. The camping was fine and the main venue had good food and what I like about it is that it is all on one site - should say though there isn't a coastline in walking distance but as I live locally I can assure you that if you do venture off site there is plenty to see and do in the area. |
Subject: RE: Wirral Folk on the Coast Fest From: Aeola Date: 02 Mar 10 - 03:30 PM There was some entertainment for children in a small marquee on the old bowling green. The fest is well worth a visit. Very safe for children. |
