I've just set up an album, with photos of the B&D Silver Bell Tenor Banjo that was stolen in New York recently.

STOLEN - B&D Silver Bell Tenor Banjo

B&D Silver Bell Tenor Banjo
Serial # 14075
Stolen from a car in the Midwood section of Brooklyn, New York on Saturday Feb 20th 2010.
Chili Pepper Strap
Hard Shell Case

Let's hope we can help to get this Banjo back to its rightful owner.

Cheers
Dick

P.S.

It has a bridge made by Mike Keyes identifiable by a 'K' on the face of the bridge.

Cheers
Dick

I'll keep an eye on Craigslist and the local classifieds. Best of luck to you in getting it back.

If it helps at all, I am not above an ass-kicking if I meet this thief in person.

Cheers,

FG

If you're posting it here, I'm guessing you are also enough in the loop to let Mandolin Brothers, Jim Garber, Umanov, etc. know about the theft.

It's a beautiful instrument. I hope it gets back to its rightful.
