Does anyone know where I can get an abc version of the song "Dean Cadalan Samhach"? Also, is there anyplace on the net that has abc's of more contemporary Celtic music? Thanks,

Mbo

I see this is from the singing of Hector MacKinnon of Ainslie Glen.
I knew him well as he was a friend of my father. He was known in the Whycocomagh area of Cape Breton as Hector Neil Loddy.

Niall McEwan's Alltan Dubh site from Cape Breton has a good store of lyrics and midis
http://www.geocities.com/alltandubh/Clar.html

probably contemporary with "Dèan Cadalan Sàmhach" rather than "more contemporary" in the sense of modern
There is a Capercaillie site with lyrics for most of their songs, some of which are recent compositions, and you could also look for Runrig material on line

there's some Gaelic song midis at
Craig Cockburn's pages

and archive material with sound files at
Sgoil Eòlais na h-Alba and Pròiseact Thiriodh
