Have lauded The Claque in Mudcat before.
Whoever the high harmony singer is,he can sureput a new spin on a tune.

And some of us remember The Journeymen, Isca Fayre, Oak Leaves, Hollinmor - Exeter: Harmony: since forever. And the Claque maintain the tradition superbly.

They are the best new outfit I've heard for years. We've got them booked at the Lewes Saturday Folk Club to run an all-day ballad workshop and do an evening performance on Saturday 9th. April next year.

Well some of us remember Isca Fayre, and the Songwainers with Tom Addison...

We have the Claque booked at the Old Oak Concert on April 21st during a rare visit North. Definitely one not to be missed if you love harmony singing.

Oh, I should have said that I also like every generation of Coppers, and the Watersons were perhaps even better than the Young Tradition (again, so long as they stayed off hymns)

They are excellent. I'm not sure however that they compare with the early Young Tradition, and before Ramskyte became god-botherers they had an impressive 5-part wall of sound.

Kimber's Men are also a fine wall of sound (and flesh).
