Subject: RE: Fairy reel ... tune anyone? From: Marion Date: 05 Aug 99 - 10:36 AM Alison, here are the results of a search I did for the Fairy Reel. They offer several different formats for communicating the melody, so hopefully at least one will be useable by you. I use the GIF files, which are images of the sheet music. There are 14 Fairy Reels listed; these might contain some exact repeats, some slight variations, and some completely different tunes with the same name, so you may have to look around the list. I didn't know there was a Fairy Reel song. I learned it in my ceilidh dance class, and it's one of my favourites. Good luck, Marion |

Subject: Tune Add: THE FAIRY REEL From: John in Brisbane Date: 06 Aug 99 - 10:57 AM Alison, is this the one? The B part appears in both Irish and American fiddle tunes but I can't think of the Irish title tonight.
Regards, John
