French Dance Jesmond, Newcastle. This Sunday.

We meet again in the British Legion Club this Sunday 11th November (and after that, Sunday the 9th December).

As usual, musicians from 1.30 p.m. and dancing from 1.45 p.m. to 4.00 p.m.

Drinks will be available as usual at the bar downstairs.

I hope you will be able to come along. Some or all of: bouree, an-dro, mazurka, waltz, polka, schottish.


Venue: Royal British Legion Club, 3 West Jesmond Avenue, Newcastle, NE2 3EX, near West Jesmond Metro Station

Dancers. French dancing is very easy and relaxed. No experience is necessary; there will be experienced dancers present to help.

Musicians. (Concert G) Music for simple tunes will be available. Experienced musicians will be present to help

Sorry disregard previous thread. Not sure about the French session this Sunday 12th june 2011 in Jesmond but definitively :

Euroceilidh on Saturday 25th June in St. Nicholas' Hall, Gosforth. Two fantastic bands- Dansons! and Muette and guidance through the dances. - more details to follow.
