Indeed a fine track from a good album. I am surprised that there is so little mention of Blackmore's Night on Mudcat. Great guitar work and excellent vocals as well. Not to mention the choice of songs. I really liked their Christmas CD. Every track was a winner.

Having become a little bored of French radio broadcast by Les Witches, I put on a Blackmore's Night CD which includes their version of Streets of London, and very good it is too - as is the whole album, The Village Lanterne, a wonderful mix of medieval tunes and more modern ones. His guitar playing is very very good, first saw him as lead guitar with Lord Sutch in 1962!
