IM sure leslie was born in dec 1942 and i worked in the same department store with her she worked there for about 8months before going to london
Her school was bowsfield lane stockton on tees and though i went to a diferent


school lived not far from her so dates are confusing me
Very sad to hear about leslie i remember her has a nice lass same age as me living just round corner

Gosh....

I'm sitting here listening to Lesley singing, on Gerry's link above...remembering hot summer days, friends in the park..listening to her singing on the radio...

....and feeling more than a little mortal, on this beautiful Devon day, filled with sunshine...


Sad to hear that news..
Lesley had a such a gentle voice..

I remember her from Elton Johns recording of Love Song years ago and used to sing the song - I'll have to dig it out for Wednesday and sing it again. Know very little about her apart from that particular song and collaboration.
