We are holidaying in Keswick 3/4/10 to 10/4/10 do mudcatters know of any singarounds, ceildhs, sessions, concerts in the area at this time

I think there is a pub somewhere around there...with a bar called the Lamplighters Bar which has a session...I went when we were holidaying up there...will try to find more and post info

We have been going to Keswick for about 20 years and I have found folk events about 3 times. The Theatre by The Lake has some concerts and lots of pubs have people with guitars and backing tracks singing rock/pop/country.

I think their is one on Sunday afternoon - I'll check the venue

Tuesday nights in the Skidaw House Hotel on Main Street, where the market is, there is a concert type event where you may be asked to sing if you make yourself known

Well we are staying Ambleside 17 - 19 July and hope to take in the Twa Dogs session on Sunday 17th.

Anyone know of anything happening in Ambleside / Windermere vicinity Sunday through Tuesday afternoon / evening?
