Here are lyrics and chords from olga.net. I will attempt to format it so it makes sense.
MEAN OLD WORLD- Eric Clapton and Duane Allman (recording artists)
TUNING: E B E G# B E, capo 3rd fret
E(2) A E RIFF
I've got the blues, gonna pack my things and go
SOLO (TWO TIMES)
Sometimes I wonder why can your love be so cold
SOLO (to end)
RIFF:
E ------------0---------0-----0-
CHORDS:
NOTE: This is VERY rough and simplified. Think of it as the "fake book" version. Enjoy the music! Roger in Baltimore |
Subject: RE: Mean Old World From: Steve Latimer Date: 06 Aug 99 - 11:26 AM I might add that if you haven't heard the Little Walter version, look it up and give it a listen. What a talent he was as a player, writer, singer and bandleader. You'll be surprised at how many of his songs you will recognize as they were covered by many blues/rock guys. He was the real deal. Chess records have released 50th anniversary editions of some of their best artists. I have the several of these and the Little Walter one is one of the best. |
