Saw Hunter Muskett guesting on a Jerry Donahue & Doug Morter performance at Dartford Folk Club June 15th and if they carry on like this with joyful tunes may well find themselves in demand at gatherings of folky folk around the isle. They saved the day for Jerry and Doug as poor Doug had a bad throat this night and had to rely on his bountiful good humour and singing technique.

That's a most useful comment Willie. I assume the intellect you display means that you have nothing better to contribute.

Well done, Ray - quite right.

It's 36 years actually (just seems like 40)

I'm sure its not quite 40 years! I remember your first gig "up North" - we even had an apology for using electric guitar in the final song. It must have been circa 1972/3 so that would make it no more than 38 years ago.

Many thanks for mentioning this.

For all of you kind enough to remember Hunter Muskett with affection (if not reverence!), do try and catch us at the Aspinell Arms in Clitheroe on Friday 7 May 2010 for our first reunion gig in 40 years. Same line up - same songs - same arrangements. See Aspinell Arms website for details.

Hope you can all make it.

Terry, Chris, Doug and Rog

In case anyone's interested I contacted Doug Mortor to let him know about Diz and he's told me that Hunter Muskett are reforming to play a few gigs although I don't know when or where.
