Thanks I have heard the song by Tommy O' Sullivan and Sean Keane but I know that Jimmy's version is out there somewhere and I will find a copy.

In the meantime I heard it during the SinE interview this year so they might be able to play it again. I will text them in and request it next time I'm listening.

"The People of West Cork and Kerry was retitled From West Cork to Derry, with revised lyrics, on Seán Keane's album The Man That I Am (Grapevine GRACD 276, 2000)."

Hi all I know this is a long shot but I am looking for a rare Jimmy MacCarthy song.

The song is called "The People of West Cork & Kerry" and was released as a one-off single about 10 years ago (2000 A.D.).

Record company was Ride On Records and it has The Sky Road as a B-Side.

I was wondering does anyone know where I might be able to source a copy of this record.

Also if anyone does know about the song I would be interested to hear when it was written and who it has been covered by.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.
