Hi All

The Annual Gathering at Kilcrohane is happening at easter, It's great fun and all bars in the village are taking part. We (John & Marie) are playing at Fitspatricks bar on easter sunday from 1.00pm till three)(ish). There are some great musicians coming to the festival. If you are in the area or planning a visit don't miss it. It's great Craic.

When you have watched John and Marie at Fitspatrick's, fitzpatrick's or Fitzpatrick's, you have an hour to take the air and admire the delightful surroundings, and then you can stroll into the Bay View (or possibly the bayview, Bayview or anything else that takes your fancy) at 4PM and enjoy a couple of hours of the Boat Band playing some "mighty meaty Cajun"

We just know it as Eileens bar. and a very friendly and welcoming place it is.It's a very small village so no one is likely to get lost.

Great, it should be a great weekend, we will be joined in fitspatricks bar by Irelands own 'Travelling Pipeline man' Steve Roche from Kanturk. Steve writes a lot of his own material, songs and stories recitations etc. It's all good stuff. He recently launched his debut CD 'My travels in Story and Song'. at the Free Spirit Music Festival in Glengarriff the weekend after St Patricks day. It was very well received.

Don't forget it's fitspatricks Bar Kilcrohane.........

Hi Almost there now, really looking forward to the weekend, hope this snow goes away though. Don't forget to catch the boat band in the Bay view They are great fun.

Free Spirit will be in fitspatricks Bar with Steve Roach The 'Travelling pipeline man' From Kanturk. Steve has some great original songs and stories, including the 'Anglia Deluxe' .Well worth a listen.

Great day at the festival, good crowd, and brilliant atmosphere. If you couldn't make it this year pencil it in for next, it really is a musician friendly Festival.Managed to catch up briefly with the Boat band, who where starting a set at the Bay view inn just as we were leaving. If you are in the area it's still happening tomorrow. Well worth a visit, a small welcomimg weekend of music and fun.
